About Me
Principal Developer · Systems Architect · Builder
The Technical Architect
I operate as a Principal Developer and Systems Architect, steering technical direction and engineering leadership. I excel at building robust systems from the ground up — like greenfield web applications — and designing clean UI, BFF (Backend for Frontend), and REST layers. My expertise leans heavily toward advanced DevOps practices, Continuous Delivery, observability, and establishing rock-solid software testing workflows to eliminate regressions.
The Real Estate & Finance Professional
Outside of software, I have a deep footprint in property management and finance. I work as a mortgage originator and loan officer, navigating complex lending procedures and maintaining a sharp command of industry ethics and legal standards. I'm also an active landlord and property manager, hands-on with rental compliance, municipal inspections, and tenant relations across multiple regions (including Maryland and Arizona).
The Creative Game Designer
I have a strong creative streak dedicated to developing a retro-style CRPG turn-based strategy game. I bring a meticulous eye for detail here, focusing on intricate mechanics like a custom six-element magic system and sourcing precise character facesets to nail a specific classic aesthetic.
Lifestyle & Interests
- The Builder: Whether it's code, property, or hardware, I like to build. This extends to custom PC building, where I select high-performance components and premium hardware.
- Aesthetics: I appreciate clean, deliberate design. For my spaces, I lean toward classic, traditional furnishings (like tufted Chesterfield pieces) accented by sharp, modern hardware finishes such as matte black and satin nickel.
- Athletics: I maintain an active lifestyle on the soccer field — managing logistics, uniforms, and playing for my team, Strong King.
In short, I'm a pragmatic, highly organized power-user who values privacy, precision, and efficiency — whether I'm debugging a deployment pipeline, structuring a property agreement, or fine-tuning a game mechanic.
